Christ Followers Academy Week 3, 2011-12

I watch in wonder as the pencil moves over the paper.  In typical boy fashion the shapes of ninjas, warriors, and super heroes appear from the end of lead.

Your head is bowed in concentration. Every few minutes your tongue appears from the corner of your mouth.  The imagination is in full bloom, and there are inventions to add more to the story.  Then I notice the heart...

There is love in all these pictures of war and fighting.  Inside the mind of a little boy there is room for something more than conflict.

Now if I could only get you to put that pencil to paper to write the sentences and do the math problems with just a little more ease.

I will count my blessings!
