I don't recognize the girl I was yesterday. I was childish, my thoughts were childish, emotions out of control. Now I see so much clearer... but do I?
Five, ten years from now will I look back and shake my head at who I am today.
Reflections don't always give a clear picture of who I was. I try to focus, it's blurred by who I am today. What I was sure of then is only a mystery today. What I'm sure of today will be a mystery tomorrow.
"Now we see a dim reflection, as if we were looking into a mirror, but then we shall see clearly. Now I only know a part, but then I will know fully." 1 Cor. 13:12
"Always do these things: Show mercy to others, be kind, humble, gentle, and patient. Get along with each other. If someone does wrong to you, forgive that person because the Lord forgave you. Do all these things; but most important, love each other. Love is what holds you all together in perfect unity. Let the peace that Christ gives control your thinking, because you were all called together in one body to have peace. Always be thankful." Col. 3:12-15
Reflect God so others may see Him!

Time tells what our image will be. Our actions, words, and deeds make clear the direction we are going. Will we look back and be proud or humbled by the image?
Time can be kind, or it can be harsh. We have a choice to use that time wisely. Do we choose to live and project an image that is pleasing to God, or man?

"Our faces then, are not covered. We all show the Lord's glory, and we are being changed to be like Him. This change in us brings ever greater glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit."
2 Cor. 3:18
2 Cor. 3:18
As the fog lifts a path is revealed. Where we've been is of no consequence. Mistakes and sins are forgiven, lessons learned. Move forward with assurance and strength.
"My dear friend, do not follow what is bad; follow what is good. The one who does good belongs to God, but the one who does evil has never known God." 3 John 11
"Keep yourselves in God's love as you wait for the Lord Jesus Christ with His mercy to give you life forever." Jude 21
Be not shamed of what your were, and don't hide in a shell afraid of what you might become. Tell others what you have learned from your reflections.
"If anyone belongs to Christ, there is a new creation. The old things have gone; everything is made new!" 2 Cor. 5:17
Become a beacon of His glory and grace. Use reflections to give you strength. Storm clouds may come, but remember His command.
