Christ's mission on earth was to reveal to men that God was not a tyrant or an oppressor, but a heavenly Father, full of love and mercy for His children. And when we study His divine character with the knowledge of the cross we see mercy, tenderness, and forgiveness blended with fairness and justice.
Don't we show the same mercy, tenderness, and forgiveness blended with fairness and justice to our own children?
Do we show it to each other?
God's tenderest care is exercised over us!
