I sit here thinking of You,
and can only imagine being in Your presence.
Like Moses on the mount, will you come to me?
I want to have a radiant face.
To be a beacon in this world.
Oh, to shine with Your radiance.
I would put no veil over my face.
To create in others a longing for You.
So they may experience Your radiant Love too.

I was wondering what it was like to be in His presence. To have my family experience the radiance on my face. With a smile I acknowledge there is a certain distance in character between Moses and myself, but it created in me a longing for a radiance that leaves no doubt as to Who I worship.
No other gods before Him. We have put many gods before Him in ways none of us imagine. Money, friends, a lifestyle, and the list is long. We are sinners. We will always sin because it is in our nature. The perfectionist in me struggles with this knowledge, but there is the realization He loved us enough to see the pain of being a sinner.
He gave us Jesus! What an amazing love. What a radiant love.
